Stergios Papadakis was born in Aliartos, Viotia in 1968. At the age of 18 he started his studies in Athens, where he has been living and working until today.

He has been dealing with photography for almost 20 years. In 2002 he attended the seminar of photography by Mr. Plato Rivellis and since 2003 he has been a member of the Photography Circle.

He has taken part in many group photography exhibitions. In March 2017 in the context of the Photography Circle Institution, Photographic Pairs, he displayed his work, along with the photographer Kostas Seretis in the gallery of the Hellenic-American Union.

He is a senior- year student in the department of Theory and History of Art in the Supreme School of Fine Arts in Athens.
